About Us

World Changers Development Initiative (WOCHDI) formerly known as Family Alive Network is an independent, not for profit, non-sectarian, non-political and non-governmental organization founded in 2000 and registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria (CAC/IT/NO43103).

WOCHDI emphasizes on Youth leadership development, Social Entrepreneurship, Community Development, OVC and with strong focus on Africa’s young people and a track record of over 15 years in successful project implementation in these areas. WOCHDI is built on a belief that it is individuals working at the grassroots that can bring the critical ideas, energy, and resources that are needed to solve social challengesin today’s complex world. With this we are creating long-lasting change through incubating Africa’s next generation of change makers.

We have enjoyed fruitful collaboration with other like-minded organizations like The American Corner, Ibadan, EU-INSIDE, EU –SRIP, NYSC, Onelife initiative, and YoungStars Foundation, Abuja, NELAH /NECAIN, a USAID funded project and other World Bank assisted programmes like CSDP to work on several projects on capacity building, sensitization and awareness creation, and with our personnel and existing structure we are still open collaboration with capacity to do more.
